Which do you pay more attention to -- routine maintenance of your car or of yourself?
Oil changes, tune-ups, new belts.....we all know the consequences of ignoring these necessities.
But, too often we ignore our body's warning signals that something is wrong: fatigue, poor resistance to colds & flu, frequent headaches, memory loss, freedom of motion problems, sinus problems, allergies, bruise easily, bleeding gums, cold hands and feet, dry rough skin, frequent use of antibiotics ......the list goes on and on.
According to a USA Today article, men often disappear from the doctor records around age 18 and don't show up again until they are in their 40's and 50's having some health challenges.
I encourage you to:
1. Get a complete blood profile done and HEED the areas that are out of whack.
2. Fill in the gaps with AT LEAST a good multi-vitamin.
Remember: We are fearfully and wonderfully made. The body responds to good nutrition.
Be sure to get a multi-vitamin that has solid research (not hype) behind it. Look for a multi that is backed by research that has been published in peer-reviewed journals... independent of the company.
That's why we recommend Shaklee products. The products have been proven to do what they are purported to do.
My favorite is the daily vitamin strip. Some of my friends use the $12 a month multi.
